The Miner Theatre

Opening in 1948 the Miner Theatre is one of the few single screen movie houses left in Wisconsin that is still showing first run movies every day of the year in an original 1940s atmosphere, with the  presentation of digital sound and sight. designed by premiere theatre architects of the day Liebenberg and Kaplan, The Miner was the flagship of the Miner Amusement co featuring many luxuries of the time such as a sunken lounge, heated sidewalk, box sections and stadium seating,  specialized acoustics and air conditioning.
